Under the Hood
Built on music theory, not guesswork.
Most tools treat notation as pixels. LalaScript reads it as structured musical knowledge β melody, harmony, voice roles, difficulty β then reasons about it the way a trained arranger would.
Semantic analysis
Every note is tagged with its musical role β melody, inner voice, bass β before any transformation happens.
Melody preservation
The melody is identified and protected. Simplification only removes what doesn't carry the music forward.
Constraint-based output
Hand span, chord density, and rhythmic complexity are treated as hard constraints β not suggestions.
Deterministic engine
No hallucinations. The same score always produces the same output β consistent, auditable, repeatable.
